For paying close to half the cost of the laptop, you’re getting just another 750GB of really fast solid state drive. It’s going to cost you $400 more just for another 750GB of storage. And if you’re already on a budget, don’t even look at the upgrade options. While it’s also really quick (~2500MB/s Read/Write), it starts out at a measly 256 GB, which is barely enough for office work (Come on Apple!), let alone the kind of work these machines are designed for. Sadly the same can’t be said about its SSD Storage. Even with 8GB of RAM you can pile tracks upon tracks and it wouldn’t so much as bat an eyelid. Guess what, Apple’s got one too!
